Artist David Best Discusses Art Construction and Installation
as Part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge

Coral Springs, FL – David Best, internationally acclaimed artist will be at the Coral Springs Museum of Art to meet with community members and media for a discussion about five public art installations opening in Coral Springs and Parkland as part of a winning series, “Inspiring Community Healing After Gun Violence: The Power of Art.” David Best will work with the community to build a Temple, which opens in in February.

In 2018, Bloomberg Philanthropies selected City of Coral Springs, in partnership with the City of Parkland, as a winner of its Public Art Challenge. Coral Springs will receive $1 million from the foundation. The project seeks to bring the community together in collective healing and reflection following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (MSD) shooting in February of 2018.
